DIY SILK SLIP DRESS

MATERIALS

-  One of your dresses as pattern

-  Silk fabric, paper for mold

-  Scissors

-  Measuring tape

-  Bead needle positioning pins

-  Sewing machine

INSTRUCTIONS

-  Cut out the mold of the dress on paper (you can use a dress as guide)

-  Fold fabric to cut frontal piece 

-  Cut the fabric with a 2-3 cm extra edge for the sewing 

-  Repeat process with the back piece 

 -  Cut also two pieces for the stripes of the dress 

-  Use the pins to put pieces together for sewing

-  Remember to face both sides of the fabric correctly as silk has  different textures in each side. If your machine doesn't do overcast try zigzag stich and the straight stitch next to it.

-  Reverse out the dress after sewing it and so the stripes

-  Sew the edges of the dress with straight stitch

-  Add the stripes

Ready

MODIFICATION

-  Cut your dress according to the measure of your hips and thighs

-  Make a cut in the edges at 15 cm from the bottom side of the dress on both sides

-  Sew the upper side together

-  Sew the other part separately as in the edge

-  Ready 

COMO HACER VESTIDO DE TIRAS SEDA O SATIN

MATERIALES 

-  Uno de tus vestidos como patrón

-  Tela satin, papel para molde

-  Tijeras

-  Cinta métrica

- Alfileres

-  Maquina de coser

-  Hilo 

-  Aguja.

INSTRUCCIONES

-  Cortar el molde del vestido en papel (puedes usar un vestido como guía)

-  Doblar tela para cortar pieza frontal  

-  Cortar la tela con 2-3 cm extra para la costura

-  Repetir proceso con la pieza trasera

-  Cortar también dos piezas para las tiras del vestido 

-  Usar los alfileres para juntar las piezas para la costura

-  Recuerda juntar ambos lados de la tela correctamente ya que satin tiene diferentes texturas en cada lado.  Si tu máquina no hace fileteado usa costura  zigzag y costura derecha junto a esta.

-  Voltear el vestido después de coserlo y así mismo las tiras.

-  Coser los bordes del vestido con costura derecha 

-  Agregar las tiras

-  Listo

MODIFICACIÓN 

-  Cortar el vestido de acuerdo a la medida de tus caderas y muslos.

-  Hacer un corte en el borde del vestido a 15 cm de la parte de abajo en ambos lados

-  Coser la parte superior junto

-  Coser la otra parte separadamente como en los bordes  

-  Listo

COMO HACER GRANOLA

INGREDIENTES

-  1/2 taza de semillas de Girasol

-  1 taza de Uvas Pasas

-  4 tazas de avena

-  1/2 taza de Almendras

-  1/2 cup of Nueces

-  1/2 taza de Nueces Pecanas

-  1/2 taza de Maní

-  1/4 semillas de sesamo

-  1/4 semillas de Linaza

-  1/2 taza de aceite de coco

-  1/2 taza de Agave

-  1/2 taza de azúcar morena o panela (Diluir panela en agua)

INSTRUCCIONES

Picar todas las nueces
Mezclar todos los ingredientes.

Extender una capa delgada en una bandeja.
Poner al horno:  100 F  or 37 C for 4 hours / 100 F  o 37 C por 4 horas

Listo para disfrutar.

HOW TO MAKE GRANOLA

-  1 cup Raisins 

-  4 cups of Oats 

-  1/2 cup of Almonds

-  1/4 flax seeds 

-  1/2 cup of coconut oil 

-  1/2 cup of Agave 

-  1/2 cup of raw brown sugar or Panela (dilute Panela on water)

INSTRUCTIONS

Chop all the nuts
Mix all the ingredients.

Extend a thin layer on a cooking sheet.

Put in the oven: 100 F  or 37 C for 4 hours / 100 F  o 37 C por 4 horas

Materials 

1 Caron Simply Soft yarn

Size H crochet needle

Abbreviations

Ch: Chain

Dc: Double crochet

Dc tog: Double crochet together

Rep: Repeat

Rnd(s): Round(s)

Sc: Simple crochet

Sl st: Slip stitch

Instructions

1th Row:  3 ch.  Close with sl. st. 

2nd Row:  2 ch. 13 Dc around (total 14) 

3rd Row: 3ch. and 1 Dc. in the same loop.  Continue with 2 dc on each loop and close round with sl. St. 

4th Row: Place first 5 ch in between 2 Dc. 2Dc, 2 ch. and repeat 2dc and 2 ch until the end of the row and close with sl. St. 

5th Row: 3 ch and 2 Dc tog. in the big space.  Sl. st. In the next big space and start again by doing the 3 ch and  2 dc tog.  Repeat until the end of the row 

without Close round making the sl. St. Around the first 3 ch. of the beginning of the round.  Repeat stitch until desired size.

For a newborn size just repeat this process until complete 7 rows.  

For a bigger size make 3 rounds like this and at the 4th round inc. 1 dc more every time.  Continue until desired size.  Close with Sl. St.

Cad: Cadena

Pa: Punto alto

Ps: Punto simple

Pto desl.: Punto deslizado

Instructions

1ra Ronda:  3 cad. y cerrar con pto deslizado

2da Ronda:  2 cad., 13 Pa. alrededor (total 14).

3ra Ronda:  3 cad. y un Pa. en el mismo espacio.  Continuar con 2 Pa en cada espacio y cerrar con pto desl.

4ta Ronda:  Ubicar las primeras 5 cadenas entre 2 pa., 2 Pa., 2 cad, y repetir 2pa y 2 cad hasta el final de la ronda y cerrar con pto. Desl.

5ta Ronda:  3 cad y 2 pa juntos en el espacio grande, pto. Desl. en el siguiente espacio grande y empezar de nuevo haciendo las 3 cad and 2 pa juntos. Repetir hasta el final de la ronda. 

Sin cerrar ronda hacer pto desl. Alrededor de las primeras 3 cad donde inició la ronda.  Repetir puntos hasta el tamaño deseado.

Para talla recién nacido repite este proceso hasta completar 7 rondas.

Para tallas más grandes hacer 3 rondas como estas y a la 4ta ronda aumentar un pa más cada vez.

Continuar hasta el tamaño deseado.  Cerrar con pto. Desl.
