DIY POM POM BABY MOBILE

Materials:

-  Pom Pom maker
-  Hoop to hang the Pom poms
-  Yarn
-  Scissors
-  Tapestry Needle
-  Hot glue silicon

Instructions:

Making the Pompoms:

There are many ways to make pompoms. So it is your choice which one you are going to use.
Here we will show you one the technic:

-  Prepare the pom pom maker
-  Wrap the ponpom maker evenly with the yarn.

-  Cut the yarn following the gap between the two pieces of the pompom maker.

-  Tie the yarn and secure it in between the two pieces of the pompom maker. Same space where you cut before.

-  Open the pompom maker.
Pom Pom is ready!

Make a total of 42 pompons or do as many pompons as you desire (more or less depending how big  you want your mobile to be).




Assembling the mobile:

This is the next step after your pompons are ready.

 -  Hook a long piece of yarn in a tapestry needle.
-  Sew the first pompom trying to make a secure knot in the center of it.

-  Put 5  pompons more (more or less depending how long you want your mobile) with a distance of aprox. 4 inches in between each one of them.
-  Once you have six pompons on the line tie it up to the hoop without cutting the yarn. Once is tied it up pass the yarn to the exact opposite side of the hoop leaving enough yarn in between to hang the mobile later..
-  Use hot glue to secure the knot in the hoop. That way they will stay in place.
-  Repeat this process two times more so you can have a total of six lines of pompons hanged on the hoop.  Keep the same distance between each group or line of pompons.

- Wrap all the hoop around with the same yarn color used to hang the pompons, This also will help to secure and keep each line of pompons in place.
-  With the last line of pompons left wrap the center of the yarn the is between the group of pompons and make the hook were the mobile will be hanged.

So, your mobile is done!

You finally have six lines of pompons hanging around the hoop and one in the center which wraps the hanger of the mobile.
